Shopping Trip: There's a Cool New Home Store in Town

For those who weren't at this weekend's special preview for catalog customers, just a reminder that the Pacific Northwest's first Room & Board (University Village; 206.336.4676; roomandboard.com) store officially opened its doors today.

Frustratingly, operator error rendered useless the interior images that I took on my tour last Thursday (sorry!). However, I can report that inside you will find an appealing gallery-room layout that handsomely hits every possible style need (bedroom to living room, outdoor to office, lighting to window treatments). Two of my favorite displays: the stylish, spunky Riley Duo Bunk Bed and the natural wood, Vermont-crafted Chilton dining table paired with hand-blown Hennepin globe pendants.
