Shopping Trip: Deck-the-Hall Season is Once Again Upon Us

While I'm stunned, as usual, that the holidays are here (how, do they  sneak up every year anyway?), I do so love the "decking" out part every year, and checking out all of the new decorations.

My favorite ornament finds, so far, are the bottle-brush and felt animal ornaments ($6 each) at West Elm (South Lake Union, 2201 Westlake Ave.; 206.467.5798). You can populate your tree (or one of West Elm's new wooden wall trees, $39), decorate your stockings, or stuff a few inside, with foxes, polar bears, caribou and more.
